The Illinois MBA Women in Business Conference is designed to inspire and motivate students, faculty, and working professionals to achieve excellence by becoming leaders and innovators. As current and future business leaders, conference participants will be encouraged to celebrate creativity, embrace risk, and take actions that will significantly impact their workplace and community.
The speakers will provide a thought-provoking exploration of the conference theme, drawn from their personal experience whether in an entrepreneurial setting or the corporate world. This year's speakers will include women from Colore Science, Cisco, Motorola, Traveler's Insurance, and Roundtable Media. The panel discussions will give participants insight and the practical skills necessary to expand their horizon by managing challenges and reaching vision.
This year's conference will be held February 20, 2009 at our new pride and joy, the Business Instructional Facility. It will be a day of learning, innovations, personal reflections, and the building of new and long-lasting partnerships.
